For more than 30 years we at MiniChamp B.V. have been bringing the magic of mushroom growing to Dutch households. Founded in 2006 and based in Horst aan de Maas, we are the pioneer in ready-made home growing kits. What started as a passion for fresh, local mushrooms grew into a mission: everyone should be able to eat fresher than fresh – just from their own kitchen!

The idea behind MiniChamp is simple but revolutionary: anyone can grow their own mushrooms and toadstools at home. Our kits make it child’s play – no experience necessary. By growing, you not only learn about cultivation methods, but also harvest fungi with maximum freshness and nutritional value. No more supermarket miles: pick exactly when you want to eat!
From Small Idea to National Specialist
From our base in Horst we develop high-quality cultivation kits with carefully selected mycelium strains and substrates. We have helped thousands of satisfied customers with kits for white and brown mushrooms, oyster mushrooms (yellow, gray, king), shiitake and medicinal Lion’s Mane. Our videos show the process step-by-step: from opening to harvest – pure and educational.
